The right partner and custodian for selling shareholders
About us
We are a private equity firm focused on repositioning and revitalising European SMEs in the face of current macro- and micro-economic challenges. We are the preferred partner for sellers of underperforming businesses in Europe. SMEs are the backbone of the European economy and are vital to the long term growth and prosperity of Europe.
At Monacum Partners, we pride ourselves in our role in supporting those SMEs to regain their competitive edge through measured and proven turnaround strategies; in doing so, we align the interests of all stakeholders to ensure long term sustainability and success.
Integrity, entrepreneurship and excellence are modus operandi at Monacum Partners.

The following are the three most common type of transactions:
Separating a business unit from a larger corporate group and repositioning it as a stand-alone company. At Monacum Partners, we have the expertise to execute complex carve-outs, unlock hidden value, and give the seller confidence that the carved-out business is transferred to a reliable partner.
We take responsibility for the full separation journey – from designing the stand-alone operating model and managing TSAs to stabilisingoperations post-closing – ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption for employees, customers and the seller.
If companies find themselves in highly challenging situations – such as negative or underperforming EBITDA, liquidity crises, balance sheet distress or severe working capital pressure – Monacum Partners brings the restructuring expertise required to deliver sustainable turnarounds and create value for all stakeholders.
We combine hands-on operational performance improvement with pragmatic balance sheet and liquidity measures, working closely with management, lenders and employees to stabilise the business, restore profitability and rebuild trust.
When family businesses face an unresolved succession and the need for operational improvement, Monacum Partners is the right partner to carry the company’s legacy into a successful next chapter.
We combine respectful succession solutions with hands-on performance enhancement, ensuring a smooth transition for the family, the management team and all employees.
